Emily Louizou is a young director currently reading English Literature at UCL. Over the past eight years she has been actively involved in theatre companies by directing, writing, acting, and producing plays. This year she directed UCL’s Classics Play, Euripides’ Bacchae, which was selected by the National Student Drama Festival 2015 and invited to give a special performance at the British Museum, along with travelling to Greece to perform in Athens and in the ancient theatre of Messini. When she is not rehearsing she loves watching as many plays as possible, exploring new work and finding pieces that make her see things under a new light.
